Blonde Trailer: Well, this looks incredible. Here’s the brand-new trailer for Blonde, directed by Andrew Dominik, with Ana de Armas as Norma Jean Baker, who existed onscreen as Marilyn Monroe. Any Other Big Trailers We Should Know About? Yes, here’s the teaser trailer for Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, about atom bomb creator Robert J. Oppenheimer. It’s been playing for a week in theater before Jordan Peele’s NOPE, and was just released online. I love the sound design at the end, and the frame of Oppenheimer being “the most important man in the world.” (Of course we all know it was actually Jesus, but that’s okay, it’s only a movie.) The film, starring Cillian Murphy as Oppenheimer, with a supporting cast that includes Florence Pugh, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon and Rami Malek, will be out July 21, 2023. Jesus? Yeah, I’m sticking with Jesus. Someone should make a movie about him! Oppenheimer will only be the most important man if his creation ends up destroying the world, and if that ends up happening, very few people will take time to think, “ah, it was Oppenheimer, after all.”

The Next Episode of Better Call Saul: Is called “Breaking Bad,” The AV Club reports. Could this be the one where Walt and Jesse (Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul) turn up for the first time? Feels like it. Either way, the title has a nice closing-the-circle quality, because the episode of Breaking Bad that introduced the Saul Goodman character played by Bob Odenkirk is called, yes, “Better Call Saul.”
